About

Hi to whoever is taking the time to view my little blog … I guess I should tell you some things about myself!

Yeah…id say that sums me up, especially the last one…

So, I decided to try out a blog because baking and cooking are some of my favorites hobbies. I spend a lot of my time searching for new and delicious recipes, and I have always been fascinated by other baker’s beautiful blogs! So, I decided to start one of my own.

It’s not one of the most beautifully written, well kept up with, or visually attractive blog, but I can promise that what I share with you is delicious.

You can bet you’ll see a lot of cupcake recipes on my blog, but along with those I have actual meals. Wait, a pan of cupcakes isn’t a meal?

  2. Hi, I really enjoy reading your blog and have nominated you for the “Inspiring Blog Award” There are a few rules to this nomination (these aren’t my rules, so do what you want…no pressure) you need to give a shout out to me, of course, tell us 7 things about yourself and then nominate 15 bloggers, that’s the tricky part, if you don’t have 15, don’t worry, just pass it on to someone….share the joy by following this link, http://thepinkgourmet.wordpress.com/2012/08/15/thank-you/….. Well done!!!

  3. Love this blog…I also love to bake but I do like to cook…of course it is difficult to cook for just one so I have a lot of dinner parties…I also love to use the crodkpot. Your recipes look delicious and I can not wait to try some of them.

  5. Hi Alexa,

My name is Margaret Jacobi and I work for a multimedia internet radio website called BreakThru Radio. Here at BTR we have a feature to our content that allows for cross promotion and relationship-building with bloggers.

It involves re-posting a published blog entry from an outside blog on a rotating basis with links back to the original site.

Here is Tuesday’s post from The Talking Kitchen Blog:
    http://www.breakthruradio.com/#/post/?blog=72&post=26642

All the other re-posts from the week can be found in the “Articles” tab.

There is also a weekly interview show, called “Biology of the Blog” with one of the bloggers on Thursday, where I discuss the blogs of the week and the blogger being interviewed. A sample of a recent interview with the blog Directional Dining, can be found here:

One of my co-workers recommended Lexbake for this for this, and I thought you might be a great fit. I really like the variety of delicious looking recipes on your site and the nice, clean format. I was hoping you might be interested in this for a re-post? I can’t tell you how much I’d appreciate the opportunity to work together.

Thanks so much, I look forward to hearing from you,
    Margaret

    • Hi Margaret,
That sounds like a wonderful opportunity! I am so pleased that someone has recommended my blog to you! I am currently a college student that just loves to try out new recipes in my free time, and the exposure would be wonderful! Where is your radio station based from? Thanks for sending examples from interviews and such, I am going to take a look now! I am definitely interested, and look forward to hearing more details from you!
